Madrasathul Aqsa was founded in a modest rental room to teach Quran, Tajweed, and Islamic principles to neighborhood children.
Temporary Building Operations
The congregation expanded and the Masjid began operating in a temporary old structure, hosting congregational prayers and community classes.
Land Acquisition for Permanent Masjid
Through the generous Sadaqah of believers and Trust initiatives, land was purchased in Podanur for constructing a permanent house of Allah.
Mosque Construction Completed
Construction of the modern Masjidul Aqsa was completed in 2004, accommodating 600 worshippers across ground and first floors. Alhamdulillah!

Accessibility for Sisters: Women's prayer space is currently on the 1st floor, creating immense difficulty for elderly and differently-abled sisters who cannot climb stairs. The expansion will establish a dedicated ground-floor sister's wing.
